Community town hall on building better public schools
Kitchener From class size to standardized testing, to support for students with special needs and other issues, it’s important to come together to discuss how our public schools can better serve our children, families and communities.
On Tuesday, May 16 a community town hall will be held for parents, school and parent council members, community groups and others to share their ideas on how to build better public schools.
“We all have a desire to ensure our public education system and schools are the best they can be,” said Greg Weiler, President of the Elementary Teachers of Ontario - Waterloo Region. “That’s why we’re reaching out to our communities to ensure that everyone’s voice is heard at this town hall.”
The town hall has been organized by the ETFO Waterloo Locals.
