Craft Beers at Bingemans Oktoberfest

Online craft beer contest launches Bingemans’ 49th annual Bavarian celebration!

Kitchener — Summer may be just beginning, but planning is well underway for the most exciting Oktoberfest festhalle experience in Waterloo Region.

With the launch of a brand new Oktoberfest website and a call out to have the people choose the beer that will be poured, Bingemans is putting together its most exciting Oktoberfest program in the 49 years it has been celebrating Bavarian culture in Waterloo Region.

“Our patrons have been clear that they are looking for excitement, variety and, above all else, a grand Oktoberfest experience,” says Mark Bingeman, President of Bingemans. “With Oktoberfest Kool Haus, the best festhalle this side of Munich, our annual Bavarian feast and a dynamic entertainment lineup, we are going to provide just that and more.”

Celebrating its 49th Oktoberfest at Bingemans, this year’s program has been tailored to meet the requests of Oktoberfest guests for the most Bavarian festival experience possible outside of Munich.

This year Bingemans is proud to have the opportunity to partner with a local icon and pioneer in the regions craft beer industry, Waterloo Brewing. Their unique offerings are a huge part of Waterloo Regions local culture. Alongside Waterloo Brewing beers, Bingemans Kool Haus will be offering Hacker-Pschorr and Paulaner, two authentic German beers from Munich. Bingemans is excited to offer guests an experience that blends authentic Bavarian and local culture and festivities.

In advance of Oktoberfest, Bingemans is giving all patrons a chance to pick two local craft beers that will also be poured at the Kool Haus festhalle. Each visitor to the website can vote for their two favourite craft beers from a vast selection of local brews. The two with the highest votes will be featured at this years’ Bingemans Oktoberfest festivities.

“Waterloo Region has a long and proud tradition of crafting exceptional local, small batch beers,” says Bingeman. “We are proud supporters of local breweries and are excited to have them as part of the Kool Haus festhalle.”

Bingemans has been a very proud and active supporter of the free Oktoberfest Family Breakfast for several years and is excited to once again be the host venue for this tradition for its 36th year. Keep up to date with all of the exciting activities — and be the first to find out about the surprise announcements still to come — at the all new bingemans.com/oktoberfest website.
