Region of Waterloo rate payers - Tell them what you think!

Boost the economy by keeping more energy spending local

Waterloo Region – The Region is looking for public input on its Community Energy Investment Strategy. The input aims to solicit feedback from the community of rate payers, the Regional wide investment strategy aims to help residents and employers save on energy, boost the economy by keeping more energy spending local, and identify cleaner, sustainable sources of energy.

The Community Energy Investment Strategy and supporting information can be found at: www.regionofwaterloo.ca/CommunityEnergyInvestment.

To give feedback, go to www.peakdemocracy.com/portals/274/Issue_5655. Written comments can also be sent to David Roewade at droewade@regionofwaterloo.ca. Public comments will be collected until Dec. 14, 2017.

The Region of Waterloo worked in collaboration with the cities of Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo, and the local electrical and natural gas utilities to complete the Community Energy Investment Strategy.
