Guelph Chamber Celebrates 2018 Business Award Recipients

On June 28th, the Guelph Chamber of Commerce joined leaders in business, government and community to celebrate the achievements of outstanding local businesses, organizations and individuals at the Guelph Awards of Excellence Gala. Recipients of this year’s 2018 Chamber Business Awards were selected from a robust list of finalists and nominees from across Guelph.

The 2018 Chamber Business Awards recipients are:

Lifetime Achievement Award in partnership with Fusion Homes:

“The Guelph Awards of Excellence Gala gives us a chance to showcase some of the amazing business talent that we have here in Guelph,” says Kithio Mwanzia, President & CEO of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce. “This annual event is a great opportunity to recognize and reward outstanding performances of business excellence, while continuing to encourage the entrepreneurial and community spirit Guelph is known for.”

This year’s Guelph Awards of Excellence Gala took place on June 28th at the Delta Guelph Hotel & Conference Centre. In addition to the Chamber Business Awards, it included presentations of the Mayor’s Awards; Downtown Volunteer of the Year Award; Guelph and Wellington Branch ACO Heritage Award; United Way of Guelph Wellington Dufferin Campaign Awards; and Innovation Guelph Awards. is distributed twice weekly; Tuesday and Thursday
