Brian Banks will become the Interim Executive Director of Nutrition for Learning in January 2019. Brian has been with Nutrition for Learning for ten years and during those ten years Brian has handled many portfolios. His knowledge and passion for the organization and his strong relationship with donors and the community will all come to bear as the organization continues to fulfill its’ mandate of “universal access to nutritious food with no stigma to students”
Mary D’Alton joins the Cowan Foundation as Executive Director and continues in a special role with Nutrition for Learning.
The Nutrition for Learning board is happy to announce that while Mary D’Alton will join the Cowan Foundation as Executive Director, effective January 2, 2019 she will remain with Nutrition for Learning in a role focused on Strategic Initiatives for Nutrition for Learning.
“We are delighted to have Brian take over the role as Interim Executive Director and we are looking forward to moving things forward in the coming year” says, Chair Gary Schoeneweiss. “The Cowan Foundation has been a major influence in the well-being of our communities. Mary has been a major asset to our relationships in the Region, and we are appreciative that both our boards can work cooperatively to support allowing her to continue to assist us on a part time basis in 2019, as we transition the Executive Director Role with our small team”.
