The Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce presents the Access Student Talent Information Session

The Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce (GKWCC) has partnered with the University of Waterloo (UWaterloo), Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU),  and Conestoga College (CC) on an exciting initiative to help small businesses connect with post-secondary students who are available for experiential learning opportunities (including placements, capstone projects, co-op work terms, in-class projects, etc).

This free event will provide businesses with an opportunity to meet representatives from our post-secondary school partners and learn about the various options available for them to work with students.

The GKWCC supports the growth and success of small businesses in the region. We know that recruiting and retaining talent is a challenge and we know that working with students can be an option to help address that challenge. By working with students, a business can not only access short-term talent and create a talent pipeline, but they also provide students with the opportunity to develop the skills and experience that improve their marketability upon graduation.
