Charcoal Group "hops" into Oakville with new Beertown location

Beertown Public House is set to open next month off Trafalgar

After extensive planning, the Charcoal Group is gearing up to celebrate the opening of a new Beertown Public House location in Oakville.

Next month, the Charcoal Group will make its first foray into Oakville with the opening of the group’s fifth Beertown Public House. Known for its endless stream of crafted beer and food to match, Beertown is bringing its unique retro public house aesthetic and modern bar vibes to a fresh location.

The first of four Beertown locations set to open over the next year, the Oakville restaurant will celebrate their grand opening on July 10, 2019.

“The Beertown Oakville location is an exciting project that our team has worked tirelessly on over the past couple of years,” says Jody Palubiski (photo), CEO of the Charcoal Group of Restaurants. “The Charcoal Group is committed to exceptional hospitality while growing our strong history, making the Oakville location another important chapter in our story.”

Beertown Oakville will accommodate 292 guests, with 90 of these seats available on the outdoor patio. With beer at the foundation of the restaurant, guests can expect to see 30 static beer taps and ten rotating taps of both local and international craft beer. To help keep track of your favourite brews, guests can use Untappd, an app to discover and recommend beers to fellow beverage enthusiasts, which the Charcoal Group has integrated into their website and restaurants.

Though experts in all things beer, Beertown’s one of a kind food menu goes hand in hand with their specialized brew offerings. With a vegan and gluten friendly menu, a kid’s root beer menu, and the newly added Beertown Brunch, the restaurant has something for every appetite. Behind the culinary magic is Chef Todd Clarmo, a world-renowned chef with extensive industry experience, and a team ready to satisfy every taste bud.

“We can’t wait to share our expertly crafted food and beverage menus with the city while building new relationships in the Oakville community,” says Palubiski. “Local businesses, especially brewers, will play a large role in the growth of Beertown Oakville as our team believes that building relationships is key to growing in a new city.”

To celebrate the opening of Beertown Oakville, the location will host a pre-opening party on July 9.

Beertown Public House will officially open to the public in Oakville on the corner of Trafalgar and Cornwall on July 10.
