Over the last several months, the Charcoal Group has completed two successful renovations and has been welcomed into Oakville, Ontario with a new Beertown Public House location. With plans to develop new locations through the rest of the year and into 2020, the Charcoal Group continues to grow their roots and reach new communities.
“We are humbled to accept the Independent Restaurateur of the Year by the Pinnacle Awards,” says Jody Palubiski, CEO of the Charcoal Group of Restaurants. “In such a vast and growing industry, we are excited to continue expanding the roots of the Charcoal Group and represent our passion as leaders in the foodservice and hospitality industry.”
Beginning in 1988, The Pinnacle Awards have recognized leaders in the foodservice and hospitality industry on a national level that drive success within their business and positively contribute to the public image. These leaders demonstrate significant achievements in their work, a positive impact on the industry as a whole and hold values that give back to their surrounding communities.
“Our roots and philosophies in foodservice and hospitality have grown over six decades and even with this experience behind us, we have so much more planning and development ahead of us that will continue to write our story,” says Palubiski. “The Charcoal Group is committed to growing not only in the Kitchener-Waterloo region where it all started but expanding across several cities so that we can share our story and welcome more people into the Charcoal Group family.”
