Harvest Festival presents: The 150th anniversary of the Kitchener Market

The Kitchener Market has been an important part of community for so many years. Join us as we celebrate the very first dedicated, permanent market structure, built in 1869. There have been multiple locations over the years, and we will celebrate them all with photos and shared memories. There will be fun for everyone and, of course, you can enjoy the Saturday farmers' market during its usual hours of 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Features for the day: Saturday, Oct. 5 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Extended Food Hall hours: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Chef D at creating harvest treats and eats: 9:30 a.m.
Cake, apple fritters and refreshments

Schwaben dancers: 11:15 a.m.

Kids in the kitchen - caramel apple making: 11:30 a.m - 1:30 p.m.
Face painting and balloons by Bre Creative
Licensed area featuring KW Craft Cider and Descendants Beer: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Corn roast (Corn provided by Solomon Martin): 3 - 7 p.m.
Baking with Chef Nicole. Baking tips for making a great apple dessert: 4 - 6 p.m.

Music and family fun too!!

Erick Traplin: 10 a.m.
Juneyt: noon - 2 p.m.
Jesse Webber: 2 - 4 p.m.

Kevin Coates: 3 - 7 p.m. (playing inside)
Jay and Wendy Carraro 4:30 - 7 p.m.
