Business Formal
“This look is for the person that already has a navy, black, charcoal or grey suit in their collection. The selection strategy is to move away from what you already have, to what you want to have. To match Jon’s colouration, I chose a chic brown suit with an accent pin strip. It’s a Corneliani three button. The trousers have one pleat. The shirt by Royal, in two-ply 100% cotton features a spread collar. The spread collar accommodates the high quality silk, Pelo, seven fold tie. To complement the chic look, for shoes, I choose a very sleek and lean loafer made by Clemento. Jon can wear this suit literally any where with the knowledge that he has a very co-ordinated, colour-specific-outfit, that looks great on him.”
Business Casual
“…my strangest question about men’s fashion? I once got a call and was asked how to dress when requested to look like “ordinary people” for a photo opportunity. I answered quite simply, that means don’t wear a tie. Wearing no tie is quite popular at the moment. But that doesn’t mean you can’t look great without one. In this look, Jon is wearing a Matteo Maas, blue, fine herringbone sports jacket in a crepe fabric. The white and blue check, 100% cotton shirt is by Royal. It features French cuffs and cuff links. Mario Valente of Italy created the flat front, side pocket pants. The shoes too are from Italy, made by Clemento. They can be used for both dress and causal.”
Casual
“As a Bespoke Tailor, best known for custom shirts, suits and pants, I enjoyed creating a clean and simple casual look for Jon. The shirt is by Royal and the pants by Bugatti. In combination, the crisp sports shirt and stretch cotton jean with brushed finish, says, I’m relaxed and comfortable, but still ready to discuss business. This look is suitable for the “please dress down” after hours company function or an informal weekend strategy meeting with fellow executives. Clean. Simple. And stylish.”
