Student Connections Launches Winter Technology Training Workshops
Waterloo - Student Connections, an Industry Canada initiative, is launching its winter schedule for computer and Internet training classes and workshops at Wilfrid Laurier University.
These classes and workshops are taught by knowledgeable student teachers and enable participants to be a part of an interactive and exciting learning experience. Courses range from office training in word, excel and PowerPoint to web design, computer maintenance and digital photography.
Classes begin on January 7th from 6:30 – 9:30pm at a cost of $40 (GST included). Workshops begin on January 17th from 7:00 – 9:00pm at a cost of $35 (GST included).
New this season, Registered participants will be eligible for a chance to win a copy of Microsoft’s newest operations system Windows Vista Business Edition as well as other computer related giveaways!
