International Datacasting Corporation Showcasing IPTV Solutions at IPTV World Forum in London, England
OTTAWA - International Datacasting Corporation announced that the company will be exhibiting its products at the IPTV World Forum in London, England, March 12 to 14. In addition to exhibiting at the event, Ron Clifton, President and CEO, will be a featured speaker during the event.
International Datacasting Corporation develops and manufactures a full line of products that can be readily configured to provide end-to-end system solutions for the point-to-multipoint delivery of broadband IPTV content via satellite. The SuperFlex product line includes uplink transmission equipment such as IP encapsulators, encryption subsystems, network management and RF modulators. It also includes a full line of advanced integrated receivers/decoders that can easily be installed and are compatible with broadband IP deliverynetworks.
The IPTV World Forum is considered to be the worlds leading event focused solely on IPTV and issues surrounding deployment and the growth of the IPTV market. The World Forum consists of a series of regional events across the globe and culminating each March in London at the World Forum. The IPTV World Forum brings together over 400 speakers from leading cable, telecom, satellite, mobile operators and leading content owners.
In addition, the IPTV World Forum plays host to a series of specialized conference streams, including Satellite 2.0, which provides attendees with information on the growth and development of the IPTV market and how satellite companies can thrive in this market.
Mr. Clifton will be a featured speaker during Satellite 2.0 and will be speaking on Friday March 14th. Mr. Clifton will be presenting the topic "Satellite is IPTV."

IDC provides equipment to two of the most advanced satellite delivered IPTV networks in the world. Both SES Americom's IP Prime and EchoStar's ViP-TV utilize receivers from IDC that provide the latest in MPEG-4 and DVB-S2 technologies.
The IPTV market that IDC addresses calls for broadcast quality Standard Definition (SD) and High Definition (HD) television programming; both live streaming content as well as video on demand and interactive services to be delivered to consumer television sets over their broadband Internet connection. Turnkey solutions are being sought by service providers such as telcos who are want to expand their service offerings. IDC's broadband satellite multicasting technology provides connectivity directly to the Point of Presence (POP) closest to the consumer, offering the high quality of service needed to meet broadcast television standards and is particularly cost effective for large area coverage and multipoint distribution.
The IPTV World Forum will take place at the Olympia Centre, located in London, from March 12th to March 14th. IDC will be located in Stand #80.
