Recognition also received in numerous other categories for top-ranking performance

WINNIPEG - For the second consecutive year, Investors Group has been recognized for industry-leading fund performance at the prestigious Lipper(R) Fund Awards ceremony.

Investors Group was presented with a Lipper(R) Fund Award for the performance of its Investors International Small Cap Class(*) fund which finished first in the International Equity category for its three-year risk-adjusted performance.

In addition, Investors European Mid-Cap Equity Fund(1), Investors Pacific International Fund(2) and Investors Global Bond Fund(3) were awarded with Lipper(R) Performance Achievement Certificates for their number one rankings relative to their industry peers.

"It is gratifying to be recognized by the industry for the value you try to bring to clients everyday by making prudent investment decisions," said Martin Fahey, Head of European Equities for I.G. International Management Limited and lead portfolio manager of the Investors International Small Cap Class fund. "This fund is run with a team approach that taps into our global investment expertise, so our decision-making benefits from all team members providing input."

Fahey, located in Investors Group's investment management offices in Ireland, works collaboratively with a team that includes Head of Asian Equities and Portfolio Manager Tim Leung and Portfolio Manager Erwin Hidalgo both of whom operate from I.G. Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited, Investors Group's Hong Kong investment management office. They are also supported by a talented team of investment analysts in both locations.

The Lipper(R) Fund Awards recognize funds that have delivered consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. Strong risk-adjusted performance is desirable because it is an indication of consistent, stable returns.
