Canadian women entrepreneurs launch leadership in Arabia
ICE Leadership President Angela Mondou, founder of the prestigious 2007
gold award-winning 'Mission Critical Leadership' workshop (Canadian
Society for Training Development (CSTD)), is proud to announce the recent
partnership with 'The Art of Business' based in Doha, Qatar.
KITCHENER-WATERLOO - This unique Canadian-Qatari partnership developed by two Canadian women entrepreneurs, Angela Mondou and Suzanne Grant, will launch a series of leading-edge leadership workshops in Doha, Qatar. Qatar now boasts the fastest growing economy in the world and is experiencing development at a phenomenal pace. These workshops are targeted at two business challenges: women professionals looking to make their mark in under-represented industries such as technology, and corporate business leaders looking to improve team performance in timeline driven projects.
The W! Power Series(TM), is a highly interactive series of workshops for
women aimed at the critical need to provide effective networking and mentoring
opportunities that go well beyond the usual 'meet and greets' to deliver
powerful 'career enhancement' tools and strategies.
Suzanne Grant, managing partner of The Art of Business, the creator of
the 'Spirit of Empowerment' Global Women's Conference, says "We are thrilled
to be launching these innovative leadership programs that are well targeted to
our current business needs in Qatar. Women are excelling and expanding their
horizons with education, taking on more leadership roles within the workplace,
on the political map and within society as a whole."
Mission Critical Leadership(TM), is an innovative 'boot-camp style'
workshop geared, Mondou says, "to equip leaders with the skills and tools
necessary to get teams focused fast. We offer something that other programs
don't - a powerful combination of best-in-class team building skills and
mission focused tools from some of the fastest paced operations out there -
the military and high-tech!"
What's their connection? Mondou and Grant come by leadership naturally,
having met as young second-lieutenants in the Canadian Armed Forces where
female officers represented only 1% of Canada's military leadership. It comes
as no surprise two decades later, these two Canadian women are still
trail-blazing!
