CAW Reaches Historic Early Agreement With Ford

TORONTO - The CAW has reached an historic three-year tentative agreement with Ford Canada covering the company's nearly 9,000 workers.

The two sides reached this agreement after intense talks over this past week. This agreement comes more than four months in advance of the September 17th deadline.

Ford local union leadership will be meeting tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Sheraton Centre, Grand Ballroom East - lower level where they will review the deal in preparation for the ratification meetings. Members of the media are welcome to attend.

The CAW will be holding a joint press conference with Ford on Friday to release the details of the Master and local agreements.
