CAW - Big Three Negotiations
TORONTO - Following a meeting with General Motors yesterday, the CAW met with Chrysler executives yesterday morning.
Chrysler made no commitment to begin early negotiations with the union,
but did not indicate they would be unable to meet the pattern established last
week at Ford. The CAW remains optimistic that negotiations with Chrysler will
begin shortly.
The CAW will begin negotiations with General Motors on Thursday. A
further update will be available at this time.
