Guelph student wins CIHR Canadian National Brain Bee Championship

Guelph - On Saturday May 10, Isdin Oke from Centennial CVI high school in Guelph, won the CIHR Canadian National Brain Bee at McMaster University in Hamilton. He was awarded $1,500, a trophy and a summer internship in a neuroscience laboratory.

Isdin will now be representing Canada at the International Brain Bee on May 26 in Montreal at the 2nd Annual Canadian Neuroscience Meeting. He will compete against students from the United States, India and Australia/New Zealand about neuroscience knowledge.
