GUELPH - Prof. Lawrence Spriet will be featured on Discovery Channel's Daily Planet show Jan. 21at 7 p.m. where he will be discussing his research on dehydration of elite hockey players and the impact dehydration can have on athletic performance.

The human health and nutritional science professor is conducting his current research in collaboration with the OHL Gueph Storm team. At different times throughout the season he has been measuring the players' level of dehydration and monitoring how it impacts their physical health and peformance on the ice.

Daily Planet is a one-hour long science magazine show hosted by Jay Ingram and Kim Jagtiani.
