CAW succeeds in negotiating severance pay for former Ledco workers


KITCHENER - Former Ledco Limited workers, represented by CAW Local 1524, will receive long-awaited severance cheques at a special meeting on Friday August 8. The union was successful in negotiating the monies, totaling $1.2 million, during the last round of bargaining with the Big Three automakers GM, Chrysler and Ford.
