Guelph - Guelph Museums has received a $1,000 grant from Fresh Start!, a funding program of CCI, which is an arts service organization in Ontario. Its mission is to provide live performance for every person in Ontario.

Guelph Museums applied for funding to pay professional storytellers for performances at its fourth annual By Word of Mouth event, presented in partnership with the Guelph Guild of Storytellers. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, March 26 at Guelph Civic Museum. The afternoon will feature stories for school children and the evening will be a program for adults. The event has been well-received for the past three years and has highlighted the tradition of storytelling, which is both timeless and international and touches every generation.
