HERMAN MILLER RANKED AS ONE OF FORTUNE MAGAZINE'S "100 BEST COMPANIES TO WORK FOR"
Waterloo - "Herman Miller recieves Top Ranking", wrote Peter Boak, of Prestige Business Interiors this morning after visiting FORTUNE'S Web site, and seen that Herman Miller was ranked as one of FORTUNE'S "100 Best Companies to Work For".
Herman Miller also received special recognition as one of only three companies identified as having the "Coolest Corporate Headquarters" (the other two were Microsoft and S.C. Johnson & Son).
Other interesting rankings within the FORTUNE results - Herman Miller was one of only three Michigan-based companies to make the list - and of the three, they are the largest employer. They were also recognized for having the second lowest turnover rate of 3%. And yes, they were the only furniture manufacturer to make the list. The issue of Fortune will hit stands on January 28, 2008.
