Squeegee Kids of a Different Kind announcing Vision Screen Print Inc.
Waterloo - Armed with a squeegee in hand Janet Allishaw makes a smooth and precise path across an ink-filled silk screen. She then lays her squeegee aside and lifts up the frame to inspect the electronic component she has just printed.
This is one of many that Janet has printed in her long career as a screen printer. But things are different now. That's because Janet is printing for her new company, Vision Screen Print Inc.,
Allishaw, along with new partners Nelson Ribeiro, general manager and Mark Pfaff, graphic designer have worked together for the past 15 years. Having witnessed growing local demand for screen printing, they decided to venture out on their own. This demand is fueled by technical companies, graphic design agencies, printing companies and sign shops, all of whom need products imprinted.
Allishaw, Ribeiro and Pfaff were a little hesitant in forming a new company but quickly learned that if you are good at what you do, customers will follow you. With 15 years of industry experience, they've built strong bonds and relationships with clients who appreciate quality workmanship and professionalism.
This made it easy for companies to give them their business. In addition to electronic component printing, Vision Screen Print Inc. specializes in silk screen printing on a wide variety of other substrates such as decals, vinyl window clings, corrugated (Coroplast) signs, polycarbonate (Lexan) face plates for the electronics technical industry, plexiglass, banners, CDs & DVDs, magnets, point of purchase components, metal, scratch off ink printing, election signs, and custom work.
