Manulife Financial renews support for Les Amis de la montagne
MONTREAL - Manulife Financial is proud to renew its affiliation for a second consecutive year with Les Amis de la montagne and the 11th annual Tuques Bleues Celebration.
"As a citizen of the great metropolis that is Montreal, it is incumbent
upon us to ensure its vitality by investing in the conservation of its
resources. Mount Royal, an urban ecosystem unique in North America, is
synonymous with the quality of life that we have come to claim for ourselves
and for the generations to come. As a corporate citizen, Manulife Financial
also recognizes the role it has to play: for this reason - on February 21st -
it will conquer Mount Royal with over 100 of its employees," announced David
O'Connor, Vice President Quebec Operations, Group Benefits, during a press
conference.
By lending support to Les Amis de la montagne's financial campaign, the
benefits are twofold: Manulife Financial will create greater awareness
surrounding the importance of protecting our physical heritage, and it will
give its employees the opportunity to take part in the Tuques Bleues
Celebration by uniting on Mount Royal with colleagues and friends to enjoy a
pleasant evening of snowshoeing.
