KITCHENER - Michael Pacitti, of Cambridge, was found guilty of tax evasion in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kitchener on May 28, 2007. On January 31, 2008, he was sentenced to 60 days in jail, to be served on weekends, and fined $141,957. Pacitti, 56, was sentenced after pleading guilty to evading payment of $122,417 in federal income taxes, and for fraudulently obtaining GST refunds totalling $19,540.
