Families come first at The Children's Museum - Museum celebrates first Family Day

Kitchener - The Children's Museum in downtown Kitchener is thrilled to be offering special hours, prices and programming for the first ever Family Day, this coming Monday, February 18th.

The announcement of a new statutory holiday for Ontario residents has meant families across the province will be looking for destinations and activities to keep them entertained. In response to this and the high demand to for their newest exhibit, the Children's Museum will be open their regular Sunday hours, 12 noon until 5 pm on Monday and in collaboration with local McDonald's restaurants, they are offering discounted admission to see Discovering Chimpanzees: The Remarkable World of Jane Goodall.

This Monday only, families are being offered savings of up to $15 when they come in as `bunch'. Groups of four can gain admission to see the Museum and The World of Jane Goodall for the low price of $25 and families will also enjoy chimp-inspired programs and crafts all day.

Response to the new exhibit has also prompted the Museum to extend their regular hours in include being open until 8pm on Thursdays and each week nights during the March Break beginning March 7.
