Steelworker security officers win big contract gains with Canadian Corps of Commissionaires
OTTAWA - United Steelworkers' (USW) Ontario/Atlantic Director Wayne Fraser announced Tuesday that 120 security officers employed by the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires at 17 federal government sites have ratified a contract that gives employees a pension plan and extends benefits to part-time employees, with the employer picking up 100 per cent of the cost.
