Pat Button brings nearly two decades experience at critical juncture in convergence of consumer electronics

MISSISSAUGA - LG Electronics Canada announced the appointment of Pat Button to the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Mobile Communications Group. With extensive experience at Bell Canada, Samsung and Sony, Mr. Button is a significant strategic hire for LG at a time when the convergence of consumer electronics is rapidly changing the industry landscape.

"Pat comes to LG Canada with a stellar record of successes at every point in his career, covering a multitude of electronic product categories," said Mr. William Cho, President and CEO of LG Canada. Mr. Button has proven to be a leader in growing electronic product categories and accomplishing industry firsts during his 18 years in consumer goods. He joins LG Canada from Bell Canada where he was a VP Sales & Marketing for ExpressVu, Sympatico and Home Phone. Prior to that, he was at Samsung Electronics of Canada as the VP of Sales & Marketing for Consumer Electronics and Home Appliance Divisions. In addition, he brings 12 years of experience working at Sony of Canada in various roles, ranging from National Sales Management to General Manager of Marketing.
