KITCHENER CMA NEW CONSTRUCTION STARTS DECREASE

ONTARIO HOME STARTS SLOW IN FEBRUARY

TORONTO – Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) released preliminary housing starts data for the Kitchener Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) today. Construction began on 103 homes in February, down from a relatively high 150 units started in the same month last year.

TORONTO - Scientists at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) have discovered a family of eight genes that are mutated in patients with medulloblastoma - the most common childhood brain cancer. The research is published in the March 8 online edition of Nature Genetics.
