AJAX - Volkswagen Canada has announced that its sales totalled 1,721 new units for February 2009, a decrease of 25.5% compared to February 2008. Volkswagen's award-winning TDI Clean Diesel technology comprised 61% of Jetta Sedan and Wagon sales and almost 20% of Volkswagen's total sales during the month. Year-to-date, Volkswagen sales are below by 14.6% versus the same time period last year.
