City Invites Residents to Provide Input about Parks and Open Spaces at Workshops
KITCHENER -Citizens will have an opportunity to provide feedback about the future of Kitchener's parks and open spaces at two upcoming workshops. Feedback received will assist City staff in developing an updated Parks Master Plan.
The workshops will take place on Tuesday, March 24 from 7-9 p.m. at Kitchener Municipal Auditorium Complex and Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at Lion's Arena (Hall). The workshops will give citizens a chance to provide input on City's long-term plans, priorities and strategies for its parks and open spaces
The workshops will consist of small table discussions that will be facilitated through both structured and open ended questions. Participation is free. The input will help guide the Parks Master Plan which will help shape the City of Kitchener's future park initiatives.
To help us ensure we have enough supplies for all of our participants, please pre-register for one of the workshop sessions. Pre-register for a workshop by contacting Lori Wadsworth, by email at lori.wadsworth@kitchener.ca or by phone at (519) 741-2566.
