Waterloo Region – Waterloo Regional Crime Stoppers will be hosting its Annual Fundraising Gala on Thursday, April 2nd, 2009. This year’s theme will be The Roaring 20’s. The evening will feature the Royal City Swing Band, performance and swing dance lessons with the Waterloo Swing Crew, a live and silent auction, free feather boas for the ladies, fedoras for the gents, and many other special surprises!

In Waterloo Region, Crime Stoppers has been in operation since 1987 and operates solely on corporate and individual donations and through fundraising initiatives such as this Annual Gala. Crime Stoppers is an international program with over 1,200 active programs worldwide, and close to 30 programs here in Ontario.
