Chrysler Canada Celebrates 20 Straight Months of Sales Success
- March sales up 3.5 per cent
WINDSOR - Chrysler Canada announced today a sales
increase of 3.5 per cent, reaching 20 months of consecutive sales growth.
Chrysler Canada sold 21,745 vehicles in March, including 5,677 cars and
16,068 trucks. Compared to March 2007 when 21,011 units were sold, sales for
the month are up 3.5 per cent. Sales success continues to be supported by
competitive Canadian pricing and highly desirable products that meet consumer
needs.
"We are pleased to announce our best March for total sales in six years
and our best March for retail sales in eight years," said David Buckingham,
Vice President of Sales. "Our wide range of vehicle offerings, including a
number of highly fuel-efficient vehicles that meet customer needs are proving
a success in the marketplace."
