Filogix launches Exchange 2.0, their next generation in collaborative document management solutions

TORONTO - Filogix Limited Partnership (a subsidiary of the Davis + Henderson group of companies), announced the launch of Filogix Exchange(TM) 2.0, their next generation in collaborative document management solutions for the mortgage industry.

Exchange 2.0 is a highly secure document management solution. It allows Originators and Lenders to share and collaborate with all those that touch the deal. The mortgage deal is very document heavy and with Exchange these documents are now stored directly to one central deal folder either by faxing or electronically uploading. Documents can be sent back and forth, commented on, faxed/emailed out and archived without a restriction on the size, number of pages or document file type, for as long as is required. Exchange's integration with the other Filogix core mortgage solutions continues to streamline the mortgage origination to funding process.

Filogix also announced that two major clients, Concentra Financial and Invis Inc., have committed to deploy the platform. "We are very excited to launch Exchange 2.0 to mortgage Originators and Lenders. To already have Concentra and Invis committed to this solution, is a testament to the value it will bring to the industry" said Judy Dinn, EVP Product Solutions, Filogix. "Providing our clients with a secure, centralized facility for document sharing and collaboration was a priority for Filogix, as we knew there were not only industry efficiencies to be gained, but an overall streamlined process."

"Security and compliance is always top-of-mind when we make any decision related to our business" said Jane Kulbida, Associate Vice-President Residential Mortgages, Concentra Financial. "Exchange 2.0 allows us to meet our Federal regulation requirements in terms of archiving documents, keeping an audit trail and structuring privileged/restricted access within the solution. Its flexibility is something that really works to our benefit at Concentra."

"For our 1600+ mortgage consultants at Invis and Mortgage Intelligence, using Exchange 2.0 will mean enhanced productivity," said Gord Dahlen, EVP, Invis Inc. "The huge benefit our consultants will see is the ability to communicate more effectively with our Lenders, like Concentra, in real-time, which we expect will effectively decrease the time for a deal to go from application to funding."
