Brideau Design Assists With Olympic Sponsorship

Waterloo firm leverages its full-circle service for dairy giant Saputo

Waterloo, ON – Local graphic services firm Brideau Design will once again be creating and producing the merchandising initiatives for Saputo Cheese (Canada) and their activation of their 'Official Supplier' status of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Saputo will also be partner of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Teams for the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Games, as it was for the Beijing 2008 Games. Saputo's participation in the 2010 Winter Games was a logical fit as it is an extension of its involvement in sport.

The most recent promotional theme, 'Powering Dreams' will be applied across a variety of in-store elements from shelf wobblers to freezer door clings, as well as many account specific items, a contest website and additional regional promotions. The entire process from creative and production, through to fulfillment to each region will be handled by Brideau Design.

“Our new flatbed digital printer will allow us to produce most of the required merchandising materials inhouse. This will allow for increased quality control while at the same time reduce the lead times and eliminate the set-up costs normally associated with such a project.”, states Tim Brideau, President & CEO.

This is the second time Brideau has worked on Saputo’s Olympic program with the first coinciding with the Bejing Olympics in the summer of 2008.
