Public invited to attend Ninth Annual New Medical Product and Educational Venue

Oakville - MEDIchair Halton is hosting its Ninth Annual New Medical Product and Educational Venue which is complimentary for all health care professionals working with the disabled in our community. Representatives of many medical equipment manufacturers, Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Canadian Seating and Mobility and the MS Society along with many different resources for seniors are participating in the event to provide information to our health care professionals who will use this information to better serve their clients.

There will be all kinds of accessibility products including lifting devices for porches, stairs, vehicles, bath tubs along with many different types of ramps, mobility devices including manual and power wheelchairs, scooters suitable for in home use, going to the mall, taking on a cruise, walkers and many varieties of canes. The products facilitate a safer, more independent and mobile way of life for people of all ages with varying degrees of disabilities.

An Award of Excellence in Medical Product Innovation will be presented to an exhibiting manufacturer, as selected by the health care professionals who will be viewing and assessing many new medical products at the exhibit.
