Andy Hofmann Accepts Role of President at ICS

Cambridge, ON - International Certification Services Inc. (ICS) is pleased to announce that Andy Hofmann has accepted the role of President. Andy will be an integral part of managing the operations of ICS's ISO registration practice.

Andy has held operational senior management positions at multi-national registrars throughout his career, including KPMG Quality Registrars Inc. as Vice-President of Operations. He brings over 25 years of experience in quality management as a second and third party auditor. He regularly audits and provides training throughout North America and has spent significant amounts of time with world class organizations involved in aerospace, automotive, banking, consulting, law, manufacturing, marketing, road construction and engineering, and vehicle construction. Andy is very highly regarded in the Quality community and continually receives wonderful feedback from his clients and colleagues regarding his audit processes.

Much of Andy's industry experience comes from 16 years of working with the Department of National Defence. While working for the Department of National Defence Andy conducted over 2,000 second party audits. Companies audited were in the following types of business: Aerospace; Automotive; Food; Leather; Machining; Construction; Engineering; Ship Building and Refit; Consulting; Weapons and Munitions; Mining; Trucking and Transportation; Warehousing and logistics.

Andy is a regular contributor to the ASQ Audit Division. He is scheduled to present a paper entitled "Performance Validation Through Audits" at the ASQ World Conference on Quality and Improvement in Minneapolis, May 18 to 20, 2009. Andy's expertise and dedication to client satisfaction is a valuable resource for ICS auditors and clients alike.
