Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) Welcomes Nathan Nurgitz Back to the Firm

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA - Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP (TDS) is pleased to welcome Nathan Nurgitz, Q.C. back to the firm.

Don Douglas, TDS CEO and Managing Partner says, "Nate was a valuable resource at TDS from 1979 to 1993, when he was also in the Senate of Canada, serving as Deputy Chair and Chair of the Legal and Constitution Affairs Committee". Douglas adds, "In 1993 Nate went on to serve as a Justice of the Court of Queen's Bench and, commencing in 2002 was also appointed a Deputy Judge of the Nunavut Court of Justice. He also took an active interest in the field of mediation, completing a course of study on this subject at Harvard University."

Nate will continue to forage a path of excellence with a general practice focused on commercial law and dispute resolution. Nurgitz says, "It is great to be back at TDS. I am looking forward to working with new and existing clients."
