KITCHENER-WATERLOO – A total of 722 homes sold in Kitchener-Waterloo and area in June, a 1.3 percent increase over June 2008, and the second best month on record for residential property sales through the MLS® System of the Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Board (KWREB). Overall June sales activity was up in all categories except multi-family and land sales.

Howard, currently Assistant Vice-President, Financial Management Actuarial with Sun Life Financial in Waterloo, Ontario, has more than 38 years in the industry and has been an active volunteer for the CIA.

Union Members Ratify Globe and Mail Contracts

5-year Agreement Confirmed

TORONTO - Members of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union (Local 87-M) ratified five-year contracts for Editorial, Advertising Sales, Circulation and Maintenance workers at The Globe and Mail. Eighty-five percent of the votes cast were in favour of the new agreements.
