LAS VEGAS – Rapport Leadership International, a 24-year Nevada-based leadership development company, will expand its corporate business operations in Calgary, Canada to provide Canadian business leaders and professionals with additional support from local executives.

Rapport Leadership International recognized a need to augment its operations after realizing a sharp increase in Rapport graduates throughout the country, particularly in the provinces of Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories.

As part of the company’s growth in Canada, Rowena Liongson, a leadership training advisor with Rapport Leadership International, is relocating to the area to oversee these efforts. Her responsibility will be to work with business leaders to drive leadership competencies into the business to align them with their business goals and objectives. Additionally, Liongson will deliver support, guidance and educational resources offered by Rapport Leadership International and the company’s education division, Rapport Empowered Education.

“Our company is proud of the work we’ve done in Canada and throughout the U.S. and we’re excited about our expansion plans in Canada. Our existing clients like CCS Corporation, Con-Forte Contracting and Concept Group Electrical, have come to appreciate the importance of leadership-based trainings in order to capitalize and improve upon their greatest asset – human capital,” said Liongson. “This is why it is even more important for Rapport to expand its presence throughout the country as more businesses in the area are seeing the value in Rapport’s trainings and how it can impact corporate culture and increase productivity.”

Rapport Leadership International’s approach to leadership development is performance-based. The company is founded on the belief that every team member in the organization – from CEO to front line - possesses leadership skills, and that the development of these skills is directly related to the growth and advancement of the company, with direct results such as improved communication and teamwork, increased loyalty, enhanced self-confidence, identification of core values, and greater accountability in the work place.

“Rapport has been successful in teaching individuals how to motivate themselves and energize their team so they are performing at their full potential, providing exemplary customer service and truly vesting in their company’s future,” said Jason Lindstom, President and CEO of Rapport Leadership International. “Given the unprecedented challenges that businesses are facing, it is more important now than ever to create a strong business environment that embraces camaraderie, loyalty and organizational unity to create a strong corporate culture that will be able to sustain their businesses and set them up for even greater success when times change.”
