Senior Executives From Yahoo! Canada and MySpace Music Join MetroLeap Media Advisory Board
VANCOUVER, BC - MetroLeap Media, Inc., producer of one of the top five music destinations in the world, MetroLyrics.com, announced the formation of an advisory board and welcomes former MySpace Music Senior Vice President Jamie Kantrowitz, former General Manager of Yahoo! Canada Kerry Munro, and Entrepreneur and Advisor Charles Seely to board posts. The highly accomplished board members will play an important role in the company's strategic growth plans as it secures new industry partnerships and leverages the considerable customer base of 33 million unique MetroLyrics.com users per month.

As an entertainment content provider, MetroLeap Media will benefit from the
talents of executives with deep entertainment, marketing, financial and
business experience. As the former SVP of strategy and global marketing for
MySpace Music, Kantrowitz led the strategic planning of the service's rich
media platform of content partnerships and original programming, artist
strategy and label relations, as well as consumer and strategic marketing
initiatives. She also played an integral role in overseeing the expansion
of MySpace and the MySpace Music platform into 30 international
territories. Kantrowitz brings deep knowledge of the music industry,
coupled with proven digital media and marketing expertise that will assist
MetroLyrics as it expands its current lyrics and content offering.
Over the past two decades Munro has led and advised organizations on how to
experience hyper growth by leveraging consumer behavior and demystifying
technology as a means to connect with consumers, build a digital brand, and
increase revenues and shareholder value. Recently he was the head of Yahoo!
Canada, where it became the fastest growing and best performing business
unit in Yahoo! worldwide, achieving annual double/triple digit growth over
four years. Munro has been recognized as one of Canada's top influential
marketers. He advises executives, boards, growth companies and charitable
organizations, and is a sought after contributor to national news
organizations. His deep expertise growing emerging online businesses will
help MetroLyrics strengthen its advertising platform and expand into other
distribution points, such as mobile.
Charles Seely is an entrepreneur and advisor/investor who sits on the
advisory boards of various companies including the StartupExchange Fund, Scanbuy, Actarus Funds and Slooh, and is an advisor to the UK
Government as a "Dealmaker" for the Global Entrepreneurs Programme. Seely
was previously the top salesperson at TCS, a telecommunications software
company backed by Cisco and Nomura, and was an integral part of the
leadership team that grew the company from $5 million to $30 million in
revenue prior to its sale for $150 million. Seely founded Brandfever, an
online factory outlet, where he built a world-class leadership team. His
entrepreneurial leadership and strategic business insight will provide
great counsel for MetroLyrics continued growth and development.
