Ontario Revenue Minister to Address HST Implementation
Kitchener – On Tuesday, September 1, 2009, from 7:30 am – 9:00 am, The Honourable John Wilkinson, Ontario Minister of Revenue, will provide an overview of the provincial government’s plans to implement a harmonized sales tax (HST).
The 2009 provincial budget proposed harmonization of the GST and PST effective July 1, 2010. Minister Wilkinson will discuss impacts of this initiative on the Waterloo Region business sector.
