Meet with German Wind Energy Companies at the CanWEA Trade Show and Conference in Toronto

MONTREAL - Nine German companies will exhibit at the 25th annual conference and trade show of the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) from September 20 to 23 at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. Companies and journalists are invited to meet the German company representatives at the German pavilion, organized by the Montreal office of the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The fourth annual German participation at the CanWEA annual conference and trade show underlines the increasing successful partnerships between the Canadian and German wind energy industry. Susanne Ritter, Director Quebec and Eastern Canada, Canadian German Chamber, is confident that the trade show will be "an excellent opportunity to foster bilateral exchanges in the wind energy sector on the long run".

Leading German wind energy companies such as AL-PRO, ENERCON, Goldwind/Vensys, HANSA-FLEX Hydraulics, REpower, Walzengiesserei Coswig, Woodward SEG, ZE-System and the Canadian German Chamber itself will be represented at the German pavilion (booth 140 to 152) in order to discuss possible business opportunities with Canadian companies. Meetings can be scheduled by contacting the Canadian German Chamber in Montreal.

The German pavilion will be the biggest international pavilion at the trade show, attracting more than 50 German industry professionals. The Canadian Wind Energy Association expects some 2,000 professional visitors and 225 exhibitors from the wind energy industry to attend.

The Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Montreal has been working intensively in the field of wind energy for several years, offering strategic consulting and administrative assistance to German and Canadian companies seeking entry into new markets. Our objective is to establish and to strengthen cooperation between Canadian and German companies, in particular in the fields of renewable energies, environmental technologies and energy efficient construction by enhancing exports and by establishing joint ventures and partnerships.
