Biorem to present at WTO Workshop in Geneva
GUELPH - BIOREM Inc. announced that Peter Bruijns, President and CEO of Biorem, will be a panel participant at the World Trade Organization ("WTO") Workshop on Environmental Goods and Services in Geneva, Switzerland. The panel presentation is titled "Air Pollution Control and Environmental Technologies" and is scheduled for today, September 25, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (CEST) at the World Meteorological Organization (7bis Avenue de la Paix, Room A). Mr. Bruijns will be a panel participant with three other industry experts and government officials from around the world.
"We are honored to be invited to present as a panel specialist in air emissions control at the WTO's Workshop in Geneva," said Peter Bruijns, President and CEO. "The workshop provides an excellent platform for an interactive exchange among delegations and experts on key issues relating to developing markets for clean technologies and their trade opportunities and barriers. We feel that our invitation to participate as an expert panel member reinforces our position as a recognized leader in air emissions management in North America and internationally."
"The global emissions market is a large and highly fragmented industry that provides significant opportunity for consolidation," added Mr. Bruijns. "Our mission is to become the world's leading clean technology air emissions control company. We believe that by consolidating best-in-class technologies and then distributing them via our strong worldwide sales network, we will be able to grow into a global player in the emissions market."
