Saudi Airlines Cargo Selects Descartes to Electronically
Manage Freight Bookings
CHICAGO -- CSCMP Annual Conference --
Descartes Systems Group announced
that Saudi Airlines Cargo Company has selected Descartes' GF-X Exchange
and Descartes CargoBooker to provide its customers with the option to
electronically book air cargo shipments.
"Joining Descartes' Global GF-X Exchange is a further automation stage
for Saudi Airlines Cargo Company, providing added value to all our
customers and enhancing the current facilities of our SCAN system,"
said Mr. Michael Meagher, Executive Vice President, Saudi Airlines
Cargo Company. "We are responding to the growing demand we're seeing to
book cargo shipments electronically and are benefiting greatly from the
improved efficiencies of managing this process electronically."
