YUFA ratifies settlement for new collective agreement
TORONTO - At a ratification meeting held on September 17, 2009, members of the York University Faculty Association voted overwhelmingly in favour of renewing its collective agreement with York University for a three-year term, for the period of 2009 - 2012.
YUFA membership ratified the negotiated agreement with more than 80% of the 554 total ballots cast in favour of the deal.
“We are very pleased that the Faculty Association has ratified this agreement," said York President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri. "I want to commend YUFA for its constructive approach in this challenging fiscal environment."
