Socially Conscience Supplier Highlights Industries Eco-Friendly Direction
by Michael Russo CSP, MP Russo & Assoc. Inc

Clinton - In the promotional marketing industry we strive to be as socially consciences as humanly possible. Many of our products are made with organic cotton which is grown without the use of harmful chemicals, synthetic fertilizers or pesticides that negatively impact the health of mankind and our ecosystems. Stainless reusable water bottles are a big step in the reduction of plastic throw a way water bottles. Vegetable cashmere fabric feel incredibly soft and soybean protein fiber is good for the earth too. It is a renewable natural resource that is biodegradable, sustainable and eco-friendly. It is showing up in many of our fabrics for golf and dress shirts. Bamboo rayon and recycled polyester blended knits are another fabric dedicated to earth friendly renewable and recycled resources.

Corn plastic products are a natural alternative product grown in North America and are not petroleum based material. These products do not put a strain on our petroleum demand. This product also reduces our dependency on foreign energy and is based on a renewable North American agricultural product. Corn plastic is used in the production of mugs, travel mugs, pens, letter openers and other products formerly made with plastic. One last great item made from plastic water and pop bottles is recycled fleece. This process makes soft and cozy blankets, vests and jackets. There are too many items to be named here but rest assured; our industry is doing its part in keeping green house gasses in check and helping the environment in any way we can.
