COM DEV Wins Ontario Business Achievement Award For Large Business
CAMBRIDGE - COM DEV International Ltd. announced that it has been selected by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce as a 2009 winner of the Ontario Business Achievement Awards (OBAA). COM DEV has won the OBAA Desjardins Award for Large Business, granted annually to a maximum of two Ontario-based companies that have demonstrated business excellence across a broad range of criteria.
John Keating, CEO of COM DEV International, commented on the OBAA award: "It is an honour to be recognized for this award, which is a reflection of the efforts of our entire organization. The OBAA Desjardins Award for Large Business is awarded on the basis of such criteria as sales and export growth, increased employment, product innovation, community initiatives, technological advancements, skills development and training, initiatives related to the training of foreign workers, general entrepreneurial skill, and corporate citizenship. Judges also consider accomplishments in areas such as profitability, environmental responsibility and sound employee relations.
