WATERLOO REGION – Rogers TV will present exclusive coverage of last night's KW Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year Awards. The ceremony will be televised Thanksgiving Monday at 9 pm on Rogers TV, Cable 20. Additional airdates include Tuesday, October 13 at 7 pm, Wednesday, October 14 at 1 pm, Saturday, October 17 at 9:30 pm and Sunday, October 18 at 8 pm.

The prestigious awards ceremony, hosted by Rogers TV’s Susan Cook Scheerer, recognizes the talents and achievements of some of the outstanding women of Waterloo Region. This year, 58 local women have been nominated by their community in eight categories; Arts & Culture; Community Service; Entrepreneur; Sports & Recreation; Health & Wellness; Professional; Young Adult and Lifetime Achievement. Ginny Dybenko, Dean of the Wilfrid Laurier School of Business and Economics is the guest speaker.
