Metro Joins Ottawa Senators as Club's Official Grocery Retailer

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced it has added Metro, a leading Ontario grocery chain, to its corporate sponsorship lineup through a five-year agreement, beginning with the 2009-10 National Hockey League season.

The Senators and Metro will premiere their new partnership with the introduction of the Metro Family 4 Pack during the two Thanksgiving weekend games, featuring the Atlanta Thrashers at Scotiabank Place on Saturday, Oct. 10, and the Stanley Cup-champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday, Oct. 12.

The Metro Family 4 Pack is available for $99 and provides four tickets, four drinks and four hotdogs. The following 10 games have been designated Metro Family 4 Pack games: Saturday, Oct. 10, vs. Atlanta; Saturday, Oct. 24, vs. Boston; Saturday, Nov. 7, vs. New Jersey; Saturday, Nov. 21, vs. Buffalo; Saturday, Dec. 12, vs. Carolina; Saturday, Dec. 19, vs. Minnesota; Saturday, Jan. 9, vs. Florida; Thursday, Feb. 11, vs. Washington; Saturday, March 27, vs. Florida; and, Thursday, April 1, vs. Carolina.
