World class pianist and musician “Mark Willms” is pleased to announce his 2nd album entitled “Release.”

Kitchener-Waterloo - A native of Kitchener-Waterloo for the last 45 years, Mark has celebrated great success not only in music, but in film as well! In 2002 (after being discovered by Sophia Coppola at the Tokyo Park Hyatt)) Mark was cast in a minor speaking role, as a character named Carl West in the Academy Award Winning movie, “Lost in Translation” and also had the opportunity to display his musical prowess on the big screen. All of the songs on “Release” are originals, penned and produced by Mark with the exception of one. He has “re-released” one of the most recognizable songs of that Oscar winning production “So Into You” (originally recorded by Atlanta Rhythm Section) as the second track of his “Release” album!

With a BA in music from Laurier University in Waterloo, Mark has been a professional piano player for over 30 years. He has entertained thousands of people in 25 countries around the world. His travels have lead to a higher level of creativity, which resulted in the birth of “Release.” Incredibly unique and eclectic in nature and sound, yet entirely “unlike” his first album “Stories My Piano Told Me”, he lends his voice to the beautifully orchestrated and produced arrangements.

In addition to this incredible accomplishment, Mark is one of few “keyboard players” of choice for many renowned Canadian recording artists. His reputation and talent is leading the way into the US market as well, not only for significant recording artists, but he is, once again, garnering great attention within the film and television industry.
